Feel Like A Failure? Encourage Another Mommy

I think we can agree that we all feel like failures at some point. I love to encourage other mommies. It’s the reason New Mommy Help exists. I want  to reach into your life and give you a hug, a pat on the back, a gentle challenge, some practical tips for your everyday life, or some perspective on this short season of your life. It warms my heart and puts a smile on my face when you leave comments. Someone is out there. Someone is actually reading and being affected by this site. More importantly, we are continuing the conversation with each other.

Last week, I received one of the biggest boosts of encouragements since the beginning of this blog (March 2009) and I want to share it with you. New Mommy Danielle at Our Barefoot Journey to Ethiopia shared her experience of going from failure to fulfillment after reading Feel Like A Failure? Find A New Way To Measure Progress. Please take a few minutes and learn from a fellow new mommy. You can read Danielle’s post here: From Failure to Fulfillment in One Simple List. Thanks Danielle!

Have you ever had the opportunity to encourage another mommy? How did you feel afterward?

If you have a blog post in response to something you’ve read here, share the link in the comment section below so we can all be encouraged.

Feel like a failure??? I think is a understatement for me…. I have 4 children, my daughter is 4 my twins just turned 2 and my youngest is 5months. I feel so defeated as a mother,,, my husband and are having a hard time making ends meet and have moved in with my parents (who don’t like my husband at all ) all i hear is what i’m doing wrong as a parent and why wnt my husband come and help me even though im married and living w/my parents i have Absolutly no help w/the kids from sun up to sun down all i get is everyone degrading me as a parent. I personally dnt think my kids are bad they’re just all toddlers that need to grow up and learn … I guess I’m just trying to seek advice on how to either get everyone off my back w/out rocking the boat and still be able to keep a roof over our heads or how to keep quiet but not get as depressed as I am
